About the Firm This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and steadily expanding accounting practice that has experienced impressive growth through both organic expansion and strategic acquisitions. With approximately 35 staff across multiple offices, the firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advisory and compliance services while maintaining a personable, client-focused approach. The Crows Nest office offers something quite unique - the backing, stability and resources of a larger group, combined with the feel of a boutique practice. It’s a smaller, close-knit team environment where you’ll have genuine autonomy, direct access to the Director, and the opportunity to play a key role in the ongoing growth and success of the office. This is not a “cog in the wheel” position - your contribution will be visible and valued. Why You’ll Love This Role This position offers the perfect balance of responsibility, flexibility and professional growth. You’ll manage your own established client portfolio of approximately $600K–$800K in fees, giving you real ownership and accountability over your work. The client base is diverse and relationship-driven, allowing you to build long-term partnerships rather than just process compliance. The firm offers flexible working arrangements, including up to two days per week working from home, supporting genuine work-life balance. There is a strong emphasis on quality over volume, with a focus on advisory, technical excellence and maintaining meaningful client relationships. On offer is a competitive salary package of $100K–$110K super (depending on experience), reflective of the responsibility and autonomy the role provides. Role Requirements CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent). Ideally locally based and looking for long-term stability. Confident managing a client portfolio and comfortable taking full ownership of workflow and client relationships.
